Similar to how google has technology that finds websites, we have technology that finds businesses and people.
Yes. We look for insincere requests and filter them out. We aren't perfect though, so you might get an occasional request from people who are just browsing the system.
To make life easier, we've created a set of standard questions for every service type so you'll have all the information you need about a customer's request.
Click reply in your email client and write back like you would to any other customer. Your message will go straight to the customer.
The more information you can provide the better. If you can provide pricing information, that's great. You should also try to include some information about your business and your availability. This is your pitch so make it good.
If the attachments or pictures help your pitch, then go for it.
No problem. Just let the customer know. There are many jobs that require an onsite estimate, so try to schedule a time to meet.

OpenChime operates on a commission basis so you only pay if you book a customer. Every business is different so we let you choose a commission you feel is fair. You can read more at www.openchime.com/welcome.

If you don't respond, you won't get the business, but that's ok someone else will pick it up.
Of course you can! OpenChime works great for anything, but we do ask that you request a service outside of your category. For example, if you are a plumber, don't create a fake plumbing request. Instead, try looking for a service you actually might need s.a. a housekeeper, or even a hot air balloon ride.
